A tense and passionate novel about choices, obsession, destiny and powerThe sea rose. Civilisation was wiped out, countries drowned. Out of the ashes of a desperate refugee camp, a new society was born, with a new place to call home: Land. Trapped by an aggressive sea, its citizens were bound to rules that saw the weak removed, marriage and children by approval only, and designated work for all. All for the greater good ... Decades later, and seventeen-year-old Christy's life is on the cusp of irrevocable change. She has become eligible for The Pairing, a carefully selected marriage of political and social convenience where romance is out of the question. Her grandmother, Cons, has also reached a significant age - sixty-six: soon the Selection Truck will arrive to take her away forever. Christy's only hope for protection lies with her errant rebel father ... but nothing goes as it's supposed to. As Christy finds a Pairing that might offer a new opportunity for love and security, she also uncovers a destiny that has been hidden from her; truths that have been disguised as childhood lies. With Cons' life under threat, Christy is forced to face a whole new world, one where she must choose between those she cares about and the greater good. A new life where she must play the reluctant rebel, revolutionary, lover ... and assassin.
  • Freshman Year Freaks

    J. A. Campbell

Paperback (Untold Press, LLC, March 18, 2016)
The final book in the Clanless Series! For four grueling years I looked forward to my freshman year of college. It should have been the best time of my life. Unfortunately, I never made it through the first month. Learning how to be a vampire became infinitely more important. Parties and classes and hanging out with my friends got set aside so I could learn how to fight, how to use my powers, and how to survive. If the school of hard knocks wasn't bad enough, the school of life decided to test me, too. I leave town and Alexander, the one guy I can't stand to be around–or without, gets taken by the Sidhe to pay for our supposed crimes. Now its up to me to rescue him and get his elven relatives to leave us alone. Sounds easy right? Try it while you're being stalked by the vampire who might have made you and a werewolf with a major superiority complex. My friends and I have been through a lot together and there hasn't been anything we couldn't overcome. But Freshman year might be more than we can handle... Being a vampire sucks. • Senior Year Bites

    J. A. Campbell

Paperback (Untold Press, LLC, July 13, 2014)
Senior year is supposed to be fun: boys, dances and graduation. It's significantly harder to enjoy it when you're dead. Thanks to an innocent game of Truth or Dare, I wound up sleeping in a graveyard. Probably not the brightest thing I've ever done, but thanks to a couple of well-placed fangs, I'm here to tell the tale. Vampires might stalk pop culture, but they’re just myths, right? Yeah. Not so much... Everything seems a lot more difficult when you’re a nocturnal creature of the night, especially school. I was managing, but couldn't keep it hidden from my friends. Steph decided that we should be cool, like superheroes, and fight crime. I’m a vampire, not a hero. Living in a sleepy New England town, crime is a little harder to come by. At least it is until a serial killer moves into the area. He’s got the authorities stumped, but then again, the cops don’t have a teenage, blood-sucking, non-hero on their team. It doesn't take long for me to discover the world is full of monsters. I may be one of them…but will I turn out to be the hero, or the killer everyone is looking for
